So I finished reading this book...

It was Scott Sigler's The Rookie, A story of an intergalactic American Football League.

I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did, it's great fun and has some legendary characters (DON PINE EXISTS IN MY MIND).

I'm not sure how I came across it, or even why I bought it. I'm on a bit of a reading kick and I can't wait to get onto the next book. I'm glad I didn't pass on it.

If you love science fiction, American Football and a good underdog story, get on The GFL series right now. You won't regret it.

Plus.. the author's a pretty sweet guy and doing some quite 'revolutionary' stuff in my favoured professional field of audio. Sweet!
